John Richardson - General Manager Medirest PPP, responsible for providing the direction and safe delivery of the Medirest Services across the Mater Campus, developing ongoing innovative solutions to ensure our services remain at the forefront on technology and best practice. I have been working for Medirest in both the UK and Australia for the past 11 years within the PFI / PPP environment.
Nicole Latham is Customer Services Manager for Medirest, and will be the first port of call for many of the Hospitals Unit and Department Managers. Nicole’s background and training is in Health Management.
Kristie Teerman is the Northern NSW Region Human Resources Advisor for Medirest.  Kristie has accountability for providing Human Resources support and advice to the Mater Project and to Medirest’s Aged Care sites in the NSW Hunter Region.  Kristie has an in-depth knowledge of the Public Health Sector, where she has been working as a HR Coordinator for Calvary Mater Newcastle for the past 4 years.
Mike Macleod  – Food Services Manager Mike has been in the catering industry for the past 25 years and in the health industry for the past 2 years. In the United Kingdom, Mike achieved a Higher National Diploma in Hotel Catering and Institutional Management and a Scottish National Certificate in Business Studies. Mike is HACCP Trained and a qualified Food Safety Supervisor.
Cathy Haynes – Cleaning and Environmental Services Manager - Cathy’s background and experience is in management within the linen and transport Industries and brings new ideas and improvements to the Cleaning Department.
The Mater Newcastle Security is Managed by Mark Getley. He is a licensed Security Consultant with over nineteen years experience in the security industry, which includes retail, commercial, industrial, events and close personnel protection.
Lisa Davies is the Help Desk Supervisor.  Lisa has had extensive Help Desk experience in the US, and previously held a Cleaning Supervisor's position with Medirest on the Mater site.
Medirest’s Materials Management Supervisor is Joel Gaffney, who will look after storage and distribution. Joel’s background is in procurement and stock control.
Sandy Gordon is the retail manager of Deli Marche and Amigo. Previous to this Sandy was the retail manager at Gosford Hospital. Sandy has 10 years experience in the retail food industry.
